Persona

A school day and a hidden battle can belong to the same life in Persona. Relationships formed in one world change what becomes possible in the other. Persona figures draw on that connection, from Joker and the Phantom Thieves of Persona 5 to Aigis and S.E.E.S. in Persona 3.

The story

Understanding Persona

The ordinary days matter

Classes, journeys through the city and time spent with friends create the setting for Persona's supernatural conflicts. The contrast makes a school uniform meaningful beside a combat outfit. Both belong to a person trying to manage obligations and relationships while discovering something that cannot easily be explained to everyone around them.

Persona 5 and the Phantom Thieves

Joker's coat and mask belong to the identity he adopts in the Metaverse. Makoto's Queen costume follows her own refusal to keep accepting a role assigned by others. Morgana guides the group through places where perception can become architecture, while also searching for an explanation of his own existence.

The Persona beside the character

Arsène, Johanna and Zorro reveal different visual approaches to the power awakened by the thieves. Their clothing, shape and names make them distinct presences. Understanding whose Persona is present connects an elaborate silhouette to the character's awakening and the way that person enters a fight.

Aigis belongs to Persona 3

Aigis joins S.E.E.S. as an anti-Shadow weapon and develops relationships that complicate her understanding of purpose. Her mechanical body remains visible as she learns to recognize attachment and loss. She belongs to a different cast and story from the Phantom Thieves, even when a collection brings the games together.
