Yuji Figure
Yuji Itadori swallows Sukuna’s finger to save people he knows. He survives, but the decision puts his own life in the hands of the jujutsu world. Before he has learned to control cursed energy, he is already facing the question that follows him through Jujutsu Kaisen: what does it mean to help someone when you cannot promise to save them?
Yuji figures often return to his red hood, close-range fighting and the markings that appear when Sukuna takes over. Those details belong to different sides of his story. Understanding the difference matters, especially for a character whose body can become a danger to the people he wants to protect.

Story and character
Learning what a sorcerer can save
His grandfather’s final words leave Yuji thinking about the people around him and the kind of death he hopes they will have. Joining Tokyo Jujutsu High gives that wish a purpose, but missions soon make it harder to hold on to a simple idea of a good death.
Junpei’s fate is an early turning point. Yuji gets to know someone he hopes to bring into his own circle, then discovers how cruelly Mahito can exploit that hope. His anger afterward has a specific history; it grows from a friendship cut short.
Nanami offers him a different example of adulthood. He takes Yuji seriously while recognizing that a child should not have to carry every responsibility alone. Todo’s lessons later help Yuji bring greater control to the physical strength he already possessed. Their influence sits behind the confidence of his fighting stance.
Black Flash and the presence of Sukuna
Yuji fights at close range, learning to connect cursed energy with the movement of his body. Black Flash marks an extraordinary instant of timing within that training. The force of those blows belongs to his development as a sorcerer.
Sukuna’s facial markings signal a separate will. Sharing a body never gives Yuji a reliable partner, and the devastation at Shibuya makes that separation painfully clear. What Sukuna does leaves Yuji alive to face the consequences.
His later determination carries that burden. He continues alongside other people, even when guilt makes him doubt that he deserves their help. A battle-worn Yuji belongs to this experience of loss as much as to any particular attack.
The familiar hood and raised fists recall a teenager learning his trade. His scars and harder expression carry the losses that come with it.
