Knuckles Figure
Knuckles has a responsibility that keeps bringing him back to Angel Island: guarding the Master Emerald. Sonic can follow the next adventure wherever it leads. Knuckles has something he must protect, and leaving it behind is never a simple choice.
The broad gloves and pointed knuckles give Knuckles figures an unmistakable outline. His strength belongs to a guardian whose life is shaped by the island, its treasure and the history of the echidnas.

Story and character
The guardian Eggman manages to deceive
When Knuckles first confronts Sonic in Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Eggman has convinced him that Sonic is the threat. Knuckles acts to protect the island, but his trust has been placed in the person endangering it.
His serious, direct nature helps explain how that happens. Once he accepts that something is his duty, he pursues it with determination. Deception turns that strength against him, creating a rivalry with Sonic before the two can become allies.
Their later friendship leaves room for arguments. They approach trouble from different positions: Sonic is quick to move on instinct, while Knuckles has the obligations of a guardian to consider.
The Master Emerald and the echidnas
Knuckles lives as the surviving descendant of the echidnas, guarding the enormous green Master Emerald on Angel Island. Its role is distinct from the seven Chaos Emeralds that recur throughout the series.
In Sonic Adventure, the Master Emerald is shattered and Knuckles searches for its fragments. The task brings him into contact with the past of his people and turns his role as protector into a journey beyond the place he normally watches over.
Strength that changes the route
Knuckles punches through obstacles, climbs walls and glides through the air. His abilities give the landscape a different shape from the one Sonic experiences: a wall can become a route upward, and a barrier can be broken open.
That physical confidence is part of his character design. The heavy gloves and sturdy shoes suit someone who meets an obstacle directly. Alongside Sonic and Tails, his strength has a clear role without making him responsible for every problem the team faces.
A Knuckles figure recalls the protector of Angel Island as well as Sonic’s rival and friend. His connection to the Master Emerald explains the determination behind his familiar fighting stance.
