My Hero Academia · Figure guide
Todoroki Figure
Shoto Todoroki enters U.A. determined to become a hero without using his father’s fire. His ability makes him one of the strongest students in his class, yet part of that strength is tied to a family history he wants to reject. Winning with ice alone would let him defy Endeavor on the terms Endeavor values most.
Todoroki figures often bring ice and flame into the same scene. In My Hero Academia, using both sides of his Quirk becomes a personal decision, reached through conflict with his father and an encounter with Deku that changes what Shoto allows himself to want.

Story and character
The two sides of Half-Cold Half-Hot
From Shoto’s own perspective, his right side produces ice and his left produces fire. His white and red hair divide along the same sides, making his dual ability visible even in the school uniform. The scar around his left eye belongs to the damage within the Todoroki household.
Endeavor sought a child with the power to surpass All Might. Shoto grows up carrying the result of that ambition, separated from much of the ordinary family life he might have had. His refusal to use fire gives him a way to resist a future chosen for him.
During the U.A. Sports Festival, Deku challenges the ownership at the heart of that refusal. The fire is Shoto’s ability too. Remembering his own wish to become a hero allows him to use it for a purpose he can choose himself.
Choosing his own place in the family
That match begins a change; it does not repair the family. Shoto still has to work through anger, visit his mother and decide what relationship he can have with Endeavor. Learning to use both elements takes practice alongside those decisions.
His friendships at U.A. gradually give him room to be a classmate as well as Endeavor’s son. His direct manner can be unexpectedly funny once he is no longer keeping everyone at a distance. The quieter school scenes matter because they show the life his training at home denied him.
The conflict with Dabi later brings the family’s history into public view. Shoto must face his brother while pursuing the kind of hero he wants to become. His fire now belongs to that choice, even as the consequences of his father’s ambition remain around him.
Ice alone recalls Shoto’s early refusal. Fire used by choice marks the beginning of a future he intends to decide for himself.
