My Hero Academia · Figure guide
Deku Figure
Izuku Midoriya fills notebooks with observations about heroes long before he believes he can become one. Born without a Quirk in My Hero Academia, he grows up studying a world he seems unable to enter. All Might notices the quality his notebooks cannot measure: when someone is in danger, Izuku moves to help.
Deku figures follow the distance between that nervous admirer and the young hero carrying One For All. His changing costume and fighting style belong to an education in how to use an inherited power without destroying himself.

Story and character
A power his body has to learn
All Might chooses Izuku as his successor, but receiving One For All does not give him All Might’s experience or body. During his early days at U.A., a single attack can leave him badly injured. The strength that makes hero training possible also threatens to end it.
His habit of analyzing heroes becomes useful in a new way. He has to observe his own movements, listen to teachers and work out how to distribute power rather than release it all at once. Full Cowling brings that change into his whole body. Shoot Style later shifts more of his fighting toward kicks as he seeks to spare his injured arms.
The adjustments give his different appearances a chronology. The eager beginner imitating All Might gradually develops methods suited to his own limits. Support equipment and a more assured stance belong to that ongoing work.
The trouble with saving everyone alone
His determination to rescue people also makes it difficult for him to stop. As the conflict grows, he begins treating his own exhaustion as a price he should simply accept. The solitary, battered appearance associated with Dark Deku comes from this period of leaving U.A. and trying to keep danger away from his friends.
He remains committed to helping people. What changes is his willingness to believe that anyone else should share the risk. His classmates have to reach the person who once rushed toward them, even while he insists that distance will keep them safe.
Their intervention brings his story back to the relationships that made his training possible. All Might gave him a chance; his friends insist that accepting help is still part of taking it. His growing strength cannot make their place in his life unnecessary.
From his first green costume to the wear of later battles, Deku’s appearance records the effort of learning to carry One For All alongside other people.
