Tanjiro Figure
Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps to save someone its swordsmen would normally be sent to kill. His sister Nezuko has become a demon, and finding a way to restore her humanity gives him a reason to endure the training and the danger ahead.
That purpose stays with him through the changing appearances found in Tanjiro figures. The earrings inherited from his family, the Corps uniform and the sword he learns to use connect the boy who sold charcoal with the fighter he becomes.

Story and character
Learning to carry a Nichirin sword
Sakonji Urokodaki teaches Tanjiro Water Breathing. Before Tanjiro can enter the Corps, he has to learn how to move, breathe and survive against enemies whose strength exceeds his own. His determination needs the discipline of repeated practice to become useful.
Urokodaki gives Tanjiro a fox mask for Final Selection. It belongs to the period before he earns a place in the Corps. After surviving the trial, he receives his own Nichirin sword, whose blade turns black. The Corps uniform and his green-and-black checkered haori become part of his life on the road with Nezuko.
His sense of smell also shapes the way he fights. It helps him notice threats and read an opponent, giving his concentration a practical role alongside the movements learned from Urokodaki.
The dance his father left him
During the battle with Rui on Mount Natagumo, Tanjiro remembers his father performing the Hinokami Kagura. A memory from his family’s life becomes a way to keep fighting when his Water Breathing is no longer enough.
The flowing water imagery and the firelike imagery of the Hinokami Kagura refer to different parts of his training and inheritance. Both belong to Tanjiro’s development; the change is connected to what he remembers and learns under pressure.
His compassion survives that pressure. He can recognize the suffering in a demon’s human past while still fighting to protect its victims. Nezuko has made it impossible for him to regard every demon as a creature with no life before its transformation.
A Tanjiro figure can recall a stage in his training or a desperate moment in battle. His family and the promise he makes to Nezuko give those appearances a history that continues beyond the sword strike.
