Mewtwo Figure

Mewtwo’s connection to Mew begins with genetic experimentation. The result is a powerful Psychic-type Pokémon with a larger, more angular body and a long purple tail. Its appearance preserves a resemblance to Mew while making their differences difficult to miss.

Mewtwo figures draw on that familiar form as well as its Mega Evolutions. Its stories return to a Pokémon deciding how to live with power that others intended to control.

See standard Mewtwo

The pale body, raised three-fingered hand and thick purple tail capture Mewtwo’s familiar Psychic-type appearance.

Choose the standard form for a classic Kanto display. Allow space behind the body for the tail, and check the actual figure dimensions rather than comparing product photos alone.

Mega X

Mega Mewtwo X MonColle

Broad shoulders, thick forearms and a purple chest make Mega Mewtwo X the more muscular of the two Mega designs.

This form combines Psychic and Fighting types. The shop URL contains an old Gyarados slug, but the product title, code and photo identify Mega Mewtwo X.

Mega Y

A smaller body, red eyes and the long appendage curving from the head give Mega Mewtwo Y a distinct, flowing outline.

Mega Y remains Psychic-type. Measure the full curve behind the head when planning the display; it takes space beyond the slim torso.

Story and character

The creation that confronts its creators

Pokémon: The First Movie gives Mewtwo’s origin a personal conflict. Created from Mew’s genetic material, it rejects the people who intend to control it and begins to question the value of the originals from which clones were made.

Its confrontation with Mew puts that question at the center of the film. Mewtwo’s power allows it to gather Trainers and create a contest on its own terms, yet strength does not resolve the uncertainty behind its actions.

Mewtwo brings cloned Pokémon into the confrontation as well. Their presence makes the conflict visible: Pokémon with shared origins face one another because Mewtwo has made their differences a reason to fight.

The changing shape of psychic power

The familiar Mewtwo has rounded digits, powerful legs and a tail extending from its lower body. Its upright posture and focused expression distinguish it from Mew’s smaller, lighter-looking design. A quiet depiction still carries the idea of considerable power held in reserve.

Mega Mewtwo X emphasizes physical strength through enlarged muscles and adds Fighting to its Psychic typing. Mega Mewtwo Y remains Psychic, with a smaller body and a long appendage extending from the back of its head.

These are temporary Mega Evolutions, not a sequence in which Mewtwo grows from one stage into the next. Mew is also a separate Pokémon rather than an earlier stage that evolves into Mewtwo. Their genetic relationship is central to the story precisely because it comes from a different kind of origin.

The origin of Mewtwo gives its restrained expression and battle transformations a shared context. A Mewtwo figure can recall the force of its abilities alongside the struggle to decide how to use them.
